Choir
The Choir of Freedom House is a collection of born-again Christians. They have been set apart to minister to God and His people through music.
Our Vision:
To exalt God by utilizing our musical gifts to sing His praise and tell of His salvation, goodness, and love through songs.
Our Mission:
To ensure that the choir ministration is delivered skillfully and in a manner that will motivate God’s people to worship Him irrespective of their nationality, race, or colour. To actualize our vision, we will:
a) Spend quality time praying and worshiping God personally to lead God’s people effectively.
b) Spend quality time studying and listening to the Word of God as the Choir ministry is the Word in Melody.
“And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years” – Malachi 3: 3-4
Our Motivation
We always welcome new members!. Choir members are required to:
a) Attend the Workers’ Meeting on Sunday.
b) Attend Sunday school.
c) Attend midweek services
d) Attend house fellowship meetings.
e) Attend Sunday services.
f) Attend other special services and meetings, including conferences and workers’ workshops.

Ushering
This department ensures members and visitors get the necessary resources they need to have a pleasant experience in the presence of God, amongst many other functions.

Our Mission
The mission of the ushering department is to make everyone who walks through the door of the church feel a sense of belonging, To create a warm and welcoming environment for all members and visitors where everyone feels welcome and to ensure the smooth running of the service so that everyone gets a beautiful experience in the presence of the Lord.
Our Motivation
We believe that first impressions go a long way which is why we feel the need for a warm and loving welcome to all so that everyone coming into the church for the first time would always want to come back again to experience the warm reception and existing church members will always be received with love, smiles, and warmth to open their minds up to have a pleasant experience in the Lord’s presence.

Prayer
The Prayer department intercedes for individual church members and the community at large.

Our vision at the Freedom House Prayer Department is to create a thriving atmosphere of fervent and consistent prayer that ignites spiritual transformation in the lives of individuals, families, and our community. We envision a community deeply connected to God through prayer, experiencing His love, guidance, and power in every facet of life.

Our mission is to foster a culture of prayer that empowers believers to seek God’s presence, intercede for one another, and impact the world around us. Through regular prayer gatherings, events, and intercessory efforts, we aim to create a vibrant prayer network that embraces diversity, welcomes the broken, and ushers in God’s healing and breakthrough.
Our Motivation
The driving force behind the Freedom House Prayer Department is the belief that prayer is not just a ritual but a powerful channel of communication with the Creator of the universe. We are motivated by the Scriptures that encourage us to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and to approach God with confidence, knowing that He hears and answers our prayers (1 John 5:14-15). We are inspired by the examples of Jesus, who modelled a prayer life and sought the Father’s guidance in all things.

Evangelism
The Evangelism department populates and builds the body of the church, saving the lost and perishing. It Spreads the Good News of Our Savior JESUS CHRIST throughout Lethbridge and beyond.
Our Vision
The evangelism team via the Holy Spirit brings people who desperately need the Lord JESUS into the body of Christ – Proverbs 11: 30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he that winneth souls is wise”
Therefore, our vision is to have dedicated members who sincerely desire souls and genuine love for the lost.
Our Mission
Our mission is to win souls for JESUS CHRIST, bringing them into the body of believers. To actualize this, the Evangelism team will:
- Partner with other arms of the church, such as the worship team and the multi-media department, to advertise the church and its programs to the community.
- Be responsible for partnering with the welfare department, ensuring provision (food and clothes) for outreach venues such as the shelter and the downtown hub.
- Use spiritual gifts deposited in team members to win souls for Christ, e.g. gifts of healing, faith, speaking in tongues, interpretation, word of wisdom, and knowledge.
Our Motivation
A thriving evangelism team equals a thriving church because it constantly grows.
We go into the world by telling, sharing, and spreading the good news throughout our city and surrounding areas through various forms and avenues.

David’s Trybe
This department is one with creative individuals that use their God-given skills and talent musically to praise and worship GOD in new and unconventional ways.
Our Vision
To give glory, honour, and adoration to our Lord Jesus Christ through music.
1 Chronicles 6:31-32 – “And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the Lord, after that the ark had rest. And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.”

- Turning lives around positively one person at a time
- To present gospel songs in the most unique and creative ways.
Our Motivation
We do what we do in David’s Tribe because we love the lord with all our hearts and minds, thereby giving him the best we can through our distinctive skills and talents.

Events & Planning
The Events Department is the arm of the church that works with the leaders to plan, organize and execute the programs/special events held in the church.
Our Vision
The Vision of the Events department is based on the scripture in Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”.
The Events dept. aims to ensure that all church programs run smoothly and meet expectations with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Our Mission
To actualize our vision, the Events department will:
- Plan each event meticulously.
- Handle all logistics involved with alternative plans in place for unforeseen circumstances.
- Create realistic timelines for the execution of each event.
- Outsource to the right vendors supporting our vision and have the church’s interest at heart when needed.
- Equip all members with what they need to succeed as a team or work independently when needed.
Our Motivation
The purpose of the Events dept. is based on Proverbs 15:22
“ Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.” For the blessings associated with each event to be received, we plan and consult.
Who can be a member?
Our team members are required to pay attention to details, be able to anticipate unforeseen circumstances, and be capable of thinking on their feet.
